1. Observation stage (Pedagogical artifacts)

Observation stage (Pedagogical artifacts)

A) Pedagogical event nº1

I have done 2 early practices in “República Del Uruguay School”. When
I thought about going to this school, I suppose that many things
hadn’t changed. However, now many things are different.
I started going to check the different facilities, and currently the
school is more modern, it has a computer laboratory, and every
classroom has a data show and a LCD screen.

b) Reflection Nº 1

First of all, I think about it, and it made me very happy to teach
there because I support the municipal education. So in this way I
realized that different kinds of resources make our labour easier,
because the learning is a complex process when students don’t seem
motivated or engaged with studying.
While we are teaching it is sometimes hard to deal with these things.
During observation stage I saw that girls paid attention when the
teacher showed or explained English contents using data, video, etc.
In this way I thought about it; we are living in a globalized and
technological society, and I concluded that if the school has
resources you have to take advantage of them or make good use of them
in order to make classes more technological and entertaining, so the
teaching and learning process won’t be boring and will be significant.
